Our Mission
Seeds of Living Hope is a non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to helping the poor, widows and orphans of developing countries.
Our main goal at SOLH is to help the widow and orphan. That has always been where our heart as a ministry has been. We want to do what we can to help the widows, orphans and the poorest of poor in developing countries thrive. We want to see them be able to give back to their communities and help make those communities stronger.
We work on doing everything we can to accomplish this.
We assist with education for the orphans, providing the widow with the knowledge they need to improve their situation.
We empower the widows with the skill and resources they need to make a living.
If they want to farm, we help to provide the tools and the seed.
If they want to be a seamstress we help with a sewing machine and start up supplies.
We help the orphans with food, clothing and school supplies. We place them with widows within the church to make a family. Our desire is for the orphans to have the support and love of a family long after they graduate.
We also help them in attaining dependable housing with reliable roofs in some situations.
Occasionally we help drill water wells in villages in order to provide a source of clean water nearby.
As you can see, our whole ministry is about helping the widows and orphans get on their feet. Helping them, but hopefully, not making them dependent on us. We want to see them thrive without constant help and be able to give into their communities in return by helping someone who is worse off and through that, hopefully, change whole villages.
